About Us

Monsters of the Underworld is a collaboration between Tess & Dicapria, a queer couple who fell in love creating monsters together.

We make large scale wearable monster puppets, colorful art installations, & lots more! Catch us performing as monsters at festivals, parades and events across the US.

Our touring installations include a 14ft tall pyramid made of gummy bear light art mosaics; a haunted, neon gothic cathedral of found object architectural detail; and an 8ft tall foam carved purring jaguar cave.
